2022 WORLD SCHOOLS DEBATE INVITATIONAL
The National Speech & Debate Association host the annual "USA World Schools Debate Invitational" in conjunction with its annual National Tournament. This year's WSDI will be held June 11 - 18, 2022 in Louisville, Kentucky.
Qualifying for the WSDI takes place via a "bid system" that prioritizes non-qualifiers from the annual Eastern Missouri NSDA District Tournament. The bid window this year will be open March 19 - March 28, 2022

PLEASE NOTE: Applications may ONLY be submitted by a school's recognized head coach. No early or late bids will be accepted as selection of the competitors is based on school and student results at the 2022 Eastern Missouri NSDA District Tournament!

Update for 2022: We have transitioned our applications into a GDocs format instead of MSWord since MSWord is expensive and steadily being phased out of schools. Applicant schools will need to "make a copy" of the docs in order to edit. A "preserved" PDF copy of the Single School Application is HERE and the Hybrid Application is HERE.
SAMPLE APPLICATIONS
The coaches of previous winning single school applications have volunteered to have their writing serve as an example! Hybrid applications are evaluated purely on statistical data, whereas the single school applications are evaluated on the merits of argument AND data.
