Mary D. Ross Founders Scholarship

Applications & Submissions

To apply for the Founders Scholarship, please open the document linked to the right.

All materials should be submitted via the form at the bottom of this page.
2022 Ross Scholarship Application
Before you start your application, be sure to read these tips to make it easier on yourself!
The form below will require you to submit several documents at one time.
  • The "Application Page" is the filled out and signed copy of the document linked above.  You're welcome to take a high quality picture (.jpeg) or scan (.pdf) and upload that.
  • The "Personal Statement" can be any file format, but to guarantee compatibility, we recommend .DOC .DOCX .PDF OR .RTF formats.
  • The "Transcript" can simply be a screen shot of your current estimated GPA or a scan of your unofficial high school transcript (most students can find this online).  You do not need to submit an official high school transcript.  We just need something that verifies you've met the GPA requirement.
  • "Rec Letter" is optional -- your writer (usually a coach) may give it to you in which case you can upload it below.  Most would prefer to submit it themselves, which they can do HERE.  (Suggest telling them to visit www.eastmoforensics.com/ross-scholarship and/or giving them a copy of the application document - that way they can easily find the webpage.)
  • "Any Additional Items" is seldom used.  Some applicants in previous years have felt like providing additional rec letters, competitive history documents, or other miscellaneous supporting materials help flesh out their application.  These are entirely optional.  If you feel that more needs to be submitted to tell your story, we provide this generic upload slot.  You do not need to feel any pressure to utilize it, especially if you feel that the other documents you've uploaded sufficiently articulate you to the selection committee.
If you have questions, email NSDA@EASTMOFORENSICS.COM!
